Re: Bonjour
Tempting idea, but I would NOT start such a project !
Cheers, Bernard

Re: Bonjour
sorry , is it me you're thinking about Denis ? I guess so...
I'll tell what's my feeling about it this evening, I have to get moving right now,
but actually i'm interrested too to know how it is on the B.
I think the idea isn't that bad at aall and actually some already did it.
I choose a different option but it's mainely because I didn't have the right 4x2 iveco length to fit on it.

alright Ned, I'm back on your question.
note, to begin with, that I renamed your head topic because nothing looks more like Hello....than another Hello from someone else
so I made a bit clearer who and what you're looking for.
to answer strictly your question this is a picture of what it looks like on a B
at least for the driving compartment because thhis picture comes from a B that is like your yellow iveco.
this one was damaged and has been changed:
http://forum.bernard.debucquoi.com/down ... &mode=view
so that looks very much like what you can find on the iveco anyway.
http://forum.bernard.debucquoi.com/down ... p?id=18618
here is where they are located on a full bodied version:
http://forum.bernard.debucquoi.com/down ... =18718&t=1
you can see that there are none in the back .
so to me that doesn't look any better than on an iveco.
and I doubt that the body would be different from de 4x2 one that had been designed before anyway.
you can find the discussion I extracted those pictures from here:

now talking about your project itself: it's been a while since I had the same idea as you, but 1st of all I already have a short one and I couldn't be bothered to find a long one like yours + a body from a 4x2 since they don't seem to have been sold in that 4x4 version in france at least.
and even a crap 4x2 one is sold to expansive for what is is I think.
Its only few days ago that I found out that the b has exactly 3.200 distance between front and rear axle just like your iveco.
and I did buy a long iveco just as rusted as yours with the intention to make a longer one too.
but i will use a polyester body instead because I want it to be wider as well, in order to be able to sleep in the width.
and that is difficult to do so in the current size.
in the following examples you'll see that some did like what you intend to do but we have very little feed back about those , one of them is currently in south america for a long trip: wopwop and as far as we know he didn't have any trouble.

and manymore with a polyester body link to the original driving cab.
