techniques pour vos photos de voyage...

Hello!

I am new to this board and owner of a 40.10 4x4 94" 2500 and a Pinzgauer 710k
last year the iveco took us to Iceland:

It was really great and all three of us enjoyed it a lot but the only downside about this
car is the lack of floor clearance so I am planning to install 9R16 tires instead of the 7,5r16
for that I need the 6.5rims but haven`t been able to find any so far

Is anyone selling these rims or knows where I can get them?

Sorry I can't help you with your tires' problem, but I'm sure someone else will. Just a matter of time
Anyway, I've been watching your photos and I really like the colors. I guess most of this is due to the landscape, but would you mind telling me what was the camera you used to take those photos?
I'm thinking about buying a new one and... you know, it could help

The camera I use is a Canon EOS 5D with a 70-200 2.8 L IS lens
The colors are also due to the fact that some of them are sets of different exposed images combined to one (HDR)

Dear Pascal,

also for us, there is only one "Notre Dame", the one in Paris. But in fact, Chartres is part of a belt of big cathedrals, which were all built in perfect gothic style during the 13th and early 14th centuries, all of them dedicated to Saint Mary (Notre Dame): Chartres, Reims, Amiens, Paris ... I absolutely love the cathedral of Chartres, and the unique character of light within its walls!

Aside from that, I baited my wife with the prospect of visiting the cathedral, otherwise it would have been difficult to convince her of the necessity to attend the meeting.

we all have to use that type of trick

well..I can't get a hold of a site with nice pictures from the inside using the multi-exposure picture process that you probably know as bracketing
sometimes the result is a bit to unreal and looks fake but anyway...
some like it and others not
I haven't made up my mind yet about that

Heu je connais pas ce site non, mais parlerais tu de generation d'images HDR ?

en fait c'était par mail privé vu que c'était hors sujet

je parlais des mecs qui prennent 5 photo d'affilée sur pied avec 5 expositions différentes pour faire une synthese avec un logiciel et voir a la fois tous les détails de la pierre qui seraient noir autrement et tous les détails des vitraux qui seraient surexposés autrement...
là je parle de prises de vues intérieur mais apparement gunnar (autrichien du site également) l'utilise égallement en extérieur notament sur les magnifiques photos qu'il a ramené d'islande...

ah ben voilà c'est bien HDR puisqu'il en fait mention au dessus...
et puisqu'il a trouvé ses jantes on va pouvoir transformer ce post en post "photos"

hedge is a professional photographer..Gunnar not bad either and I think Marcus too isn'it...

so i don't know if all of you intend to meet sometime but since we all love pictures..
was thinking that we could have a place where to talk about it here..

You mean HDR (high definition range) photography? I found a pic of the cathedral interior here:

Personally, I prefer the more natural impression of darkness and how the colours of the windows become substantial.

I have not tried HDR until now, since I still am adept to analogue photography; simply cannot throw away my old Leicas ...

En fait cette technique est vieille, mais l'informatique à volé a son secours, comme souvent, les photographes de voitures notamment l'utilisaient pour ne pas faire apparaitre les reflets sur les carrosseries, on l'appelait la technique du "sandwich" car on superposait les vues pour faire apparaitre de chaque que ce que l'on voulait !
Pas très clair ce que je dis... vu l'heure ....
